So I have been using my Versys for a couple of weeks now for commuting back and forth to work and university, it has seen rain, sun and even hail! I love every second of it, to the awkward turns in the garage to putting on my gear at 11 o’clock at night leaving work.
I have not given it a good ride into the country in a few days and I need to get those chicken strips taken off asap! So tomorrow after work I shall take it for a ride :)
More bikes = less traffic = more fun
Went to the King’s Hall Motorcycle show this year again, wasn’t too bad. The best part about these shows is that everyone there has the same interest as you do, meeting new strange and wonderful characters walking about is a part of the motorcycling world… not to mention the amazing Ducati Girls that were there…
Boy this photo takes me back… This was one of my first rides on my Ducati, was a scary beast at the time but I would like to think that I am close to taming the Monster now :)

The group is once again united for the week I am off uni. Thank goodness for reading weeks. Now that we are all home there will be a new addition to the blog. Everyone, meet Ross. Ross rides a new Yamaha xj6 (the yellow bike with a transformers face) Lovely bike with a tidy scorpion exhaust. This bike is probably the most advanced electronically out of our group… after all it has a petrol gauge! So enjoy the photoset from our last spin out before I went to uni.

For some people, a motorcycle is work, or a way to get to work. Or a way to get away from it all to the solitude of the open country. A motorcycle is what ever you want to make it. Turn it on and you can give yourself a real thrill…
I should re name this blog to “JustGetOnYourBridge” :P
I have been on this bridge before, it is located at the north of Scotland and the road surface was superb. A stretch of road that lasted for about 15 - 20 miles, twisting and carving its way through the barren country side. You can’t really tell but even the bridge is bending.
The only straight road was this long blind cress that lead into a down hill left hand bend, straight out of a race track, on either side of the crest, shear cliff faces turned the road into a tunnel, engine noises were bouncing off the walls right back at you. We pulled over to take the photo of the bridge and you could feel the grip on your boots, was amazing.
oh yea only seen about 3 cars too :)
